COMET s’est installée en Côte d’Ivoire au début de 2015 en créant la filiale 100% commerciale Africa Trailer.
The range of COMET semi-trailers sold in Ivory Coast includes dump semi-trailers, flatbed semi-trailers, tanker semi-trailers, and flatbed semi-trailers, all of which comply with UEMOA standards and ADR standards, primarily for hydrocarbon tankers.
Since then, Africa Trailer has successfully established COMET semi-trailers on the Ivorian market and has become a major player in the transport sector by developing partnerships with the largest truck dealers.
Continuing with its focus on ongoing industrial development, Africa Trailer Industrie was established in 2020. The factory, which will manufacture COMET semi-trailers made in Côte d'Ivoire, will be operational in June 2021.
